The first half of the year is nearing its end, and the world of video games is currently eyeing all the pre-release phenomena. There is an array of video games which are expected to be launched in the coming days, and one of those is the FIFA 18. There are already lots of details which have made it to the fans as well as the experts, and there are also lots of speculations regarding the features as well as the gameplay of the different modes in the game.
Among the expected things, we have the FIFA 18 Ultimate Team, the new pack of celebrations and the Journey Mode which have attracted the eyeballs of most of the followers. Certainly, the FIFA 18 Journey Mode is the one that has also made the fans really curious. How the storyline is going to pan out, what it has got in store – all these have made the fans really excited.
However, another aspect which has made the fans even more intrigued is the graphics of the game. There have been occasions when the Journey Mode in FIFA 17 was spotted to be too much robotic and less naturalistic. And this is something that the fans would really like to see getting upgraded.
The trailer of the FIFA 18 Journey Mode which has come out has clearly shown that the Journey Mode is going to get a wider canvas. In the trailer, streets in South America have been spotted alongside a number of new characters including Cristiano Ronaldo. Naturally, the expectations are bound to rise. Hence, it is expected that the graphics are going to be overhauled as well.
Frostbite has already brought in lots of new things in the earlier edition of the game. And things are bound to be even better in FIFA 18. In fact, Matt Prior, producer of the game FIFA 18 has revealed that “We’ve made everything around making the movement about how the player uses inputs to react rather than you having to trigger an animation in order for them to play.” He has told that it is due to Frostbite engine that the game is bound to get richer as far as the emotions and expressions of Alex Hunter in Journey Mode are concerned.
Also Prior has made it clear that the user reviews regarding the game have come into great use as well. On this, he has remarked, “From a consumer standpoint that means we can be much more efficient when it comes to making games because all of that effort that’s already been poured into the backend is there for us to use. We can go straight into thinking about features that really affect the user experience. That helps us make better games and focus more on features for players rather than working out how to make the backend work.”
Certainly, there are indications that it is going to far better than the other big release that Electronic Arts (EA) has already had this year (Mass Effect: Andromeda is the one that we refer to here). And to get an idea of that, we need to wait a bit longer as a number of new updates are scheduled to come in the near future. Already the gameplay trailer for the Ultimate Team is expected to be launched soon. So that will hint at how the Ultimate Team is going to function and fix the problems that the gamers have faced in the previous edition.
In all, it can be stated that there are lots of innovations that are supposed to make an appearance in FIFA 18 where Cristiano Ronaldo is the cover star. Also, there are enough speculations making rounds regarding the release date, but there is no official evidence. Hence, September 29 still remains to be the release date of FIFA 18.
