FIFA 18 is certainly one of the biggest names in the sphere of video games at this moment and all the speculations and updates which are making rounds have suddenly made the fans go crazy about the new things that might come in the game eventually. The gameplay features are certainly going to be overhauled because that is what actually made the games in the FIFA franchise so much popular among the gamers.
It has already been in the news that there are going to be a new pack of celebrations which are expected to be introduced in the game FIFA 18. Also, the Journey Mode is expected to be bettered. In fact, the trailer for the Journey Mode has brought to light these changes. And now it is believed that EA Sports is going to introduce a new system of tackling in the new edition of the game which is going to be available on the market later this year (September 29 is the official FIFA 18 release date).
The new mode of tackle – ‘Hard Tackle’ will allow the gamer with the option to perform the action of putting in a tackle stronger than a normal tackle. The ‘hard tackle’ can be put in by holding the normal tackle button. So that makes the game much more complex and realistic. Certainly, the fans will enjoy this new FIFA 18 feature.
Regarding the inclusion of the ‘hard tackle’, Sam Rivera, FIFA 18 Associate Producer has stated, “We have added the 'hard tackle', which is halfway between a sliding tackle and a standing tackle... There's now much more personality in defending - in the same way, that we're adding personality to dribbling, we're adding it for defending, so it matters more that you have a good defender and a good tackler because they will have more chances to get to the ball.” He further added, “the benefits of the tackle is that you are now much more likely to win the physical battle, without having to recover from getting up off the ground, like you do when you perform a sliding challenge.” Sam Rivera came up with this crucial information related to the defensive aspects of the game during a preview event of EA Sports.
This inclusion comes in the wake of a number of reports regarding the standing tackle in FIFA 17. Often in FIFA 17, shielding the ball has resulted in a too much a strong tackle. So with this new hard tackle in FIFA 18 features, the gamers will be able to make a stronger challenge yet regain the possession much more easily which is otherwise not possible with a sliding tackle.
This will certainly make things much more exciting for the gamers as far as the FIFA 18 gameplay is concerned. Previously it has been revealed that it is Cristiano Ronaldo who will be the cover star of the game. Also, the Ultimate Team Edition of the game is expected to grab the attention of the gamers when it eventually comes out on the market later this year.
