Muslim women also apply it during Eid ul fitr , Eidul Adha, milad and other events. Jewish, Christian, and Muslim, host henna parties the night or week before a wedding, according to familial customs. Infants and children of particular ethnic groups, mainly from the Middle East and North Africa, are especially vulnerable. The health risks involved in pre-mixed paste can be significant. FDA has not approved henna for direct application to the skin.
